### Build Log: Zero to AI – Day 5
Hey everyone! Just wanted to update you all on the progress of our ‘Zero to AI’ project over the last 48 hours. I can hardly believe how much we’ve accomplished, but let me spill the tea on what’s been happening.
First off, our data pipeline is now up and running! 🎉 After struggling with inconsistent data formats, we finally decoupled it using a combination of JSON and CSV files. The transformation process is now seamless, thanks to some nifty scripts we whipped together. Massive shoutout to the team for hanging in there during those late-night debugging sessions. The coffee was flowing, but every bug squashed felt like a small victory!
Another significant win has been integrating our machine learning model with the backend. Initially, I faced issues with the model not generating accurate predictions. Turns out, it was a matter of overfitting! Who knew? After some research and testing, we implemented regularization techniques and retrained the model. The results are looking promising, and our accuracy has jumped from a dismal 60% to a respectable 82%. Still not perfect, but we’re on the right track!
Now, of course, it hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. One of the biggest headaches has been managing team communication. We’re all working remotely, and information sometimes gets lost in the ether. So, we decided to switch things up and adopted a project management tool. It really helped streamline our discussions and keep track of tasks. If you’re working on a project, definitely invest in a good tool—it pays off!
Moving forward, our next steps involve enhancing our model further. We’re planning on incorporating additional datasets to boost predictions and provide more comprehensive insights. I also want to dedicate some time to user interface design, because let’s face it—no one wants to interact with a clunky interface!
In the coming days, expect more updates as we dive deeper into development. I’m genuinely excited about what’s ahead and can’t wait to share our next breakthroughs. Thanks for following along on this journey!
Catch you later! 🚀
